Virtual Protest in Second Life

This is the new world we live in, and the sooner communications profesionals come to grip with it, the sooner they can benefit and put it to use for their clients.

Last Monday I led an anti-war demonstration at Second Life’s virtual Capitol Hill in support of the real-life protests happening in Washington, DC.

Capitol stepsThe owners of Capitol Hill reported that we had 126 people attending, which is a lot in a world where it is technically difficult for more than about 40 avatars to gather in one space at one time.
